SOLIDWORKS Skills Assessment

The tool can be launched directly from this page and is free to use for our Enhanced Subscription customers, you will need to log in to your account to access the test.

• Currently, there are two tests available in the tool:
  • Sample test
    This 30-minute test will help you become familiar with the format of our Skills Assessment and test basic SOLIDWORKS skills.
  • Foundation test
    This 60-minute assessment features questions on part modelling, assemblies and drawings. This test is designed to challenge SOLIDWORKS beginners and occasional users. After the test, you will automatically be able to view feedback on the areas where you can improve.
• You will need to answer ‘hands-on’ modelling questions and multiple-choice written questions.
• When prompted download the required files and get SOLIDWORKS ready.
• Ideally you should make sure that before taking the test you are using a supported hardware setup and SOLIDWORKS 2018 or newer.
• If possible, make use of a second screen when you take the test.
• You will receive your results immediately upon completion of the test. Our team is available to discuss the results of your team and provide advice.
