Windows Vista End of Support

Tuesday July 23, 2013 at 11:35am
Anyone out there still using Windows Vista?

It's easy for us to assume that everyone is running the latest and greatest but i want to make sure anyone still using Vista has time to change. To run SOLIDWORKS 2014 when it is released this autumn you will either have to upgrade your operating system or PC

SOLIDWORKS 2014  will not install on Windows Vista. The only operating systems that are supported from 2014 are Windows 7 and Windows 8(64bit only)

Solid Solutions hardware recommendations can be found in this PDF

Also full system for all SOLIDWORKS products can be found at this link (Keep in mind that the recommendations are often bare minimums)

Any questions please get in contact with support@solidsolutions.ie
