In 2018 we ran a competition for your most realistic renders. We got some absolutely stunning results and so now to mark the launch of SOLIDWORKS 2021 the competition is back, and this time it’s bigger, better and has a new name!
Welcome to Render Rumble 2021!
The Competition
In the Royal Render Rumble only one render (and one animation) can be crowned king. Submit your most realistic static renders and/or a 10-30 second animation to show off your skills for your chance to win some great prizes. The winners of both the static render competition and the animation competition will win an Apple Watch Series 6*, runners up for both categories will receive a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse compact.
To enter please email your image(s) or animation (s) to sw2021@solidsolutions.ie with the subject ‘Visualize Rendering Competition 2020’. Please add your contact details to the email submissions so that you can be contactable for prizes.
If your animation is too large to email, please
send via our Secure File Transfer, with ‘Visualize Rendering Competition 2020’ as the subject.
We want you to put your skills to the test and show us your best renders. These renders do not have to be from your company's products but we always appreciate seeing our customers' designs. You must use SOLIDWORKS Visualize to achieve your vision. There are two competitions, one for static renders and one for animations – you may submit multiple renders for either or both competitions.
We welcome submissions from anyone however only Solid Solutions customers are eligible for prizes.
We’ll accept entries from November 5th to December 7th 2020. The winners will be announced on December 18th.
We will be evaluating the renders on a number of criteria including realism, creativity and composition.
Please do not submit images of any models/designs that are IP sensitive or under the process of gaining a patent.
By submitting to the competition, you are consenting that the images can be used in future marketing purposes by Solid Solutions.
