Why SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematics?
SOLIDWORKS Electrical is a recent addition to the product portfolio which allows integration between the electrical and mechanical design processes.

This course introduces the user to the 2D application allowing you to create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using the extensive library and verification tools.

This course can then lead into the 3D module allowing you to import the components and wires into SOLIDWORKS as 3D models.

He has a very approachable way of teaching which was easy to get on with.

The training was according to ANSI standards which is irrelevant as here we use IEC standards.
The trainer should be from an electrical design background and have at least some prior experience or hands-on experience in real-life projects.
The training should include how to create a project from the very start to the end. to boost confidence and encourage the learners to draw drawings from scratch.

Dipesh was thorough and explained the course detail well, the course documentation/workflow however was not the best, the course workflow does not seem logical and seems to jump from one area to another and then back which makes the course difficult to follow at times.

The course would benefit from a refresh to work in a logical manner starting from the basics and working through to the more advanced course requirements.

The course trainer was enthusiastic about supporting me in my areas of difficulty with solidworks. The trainer covered the key areas of the software and I grasped the concepts however, it was tiring just going through the booklet. I believe the trainer did well with the content and time given.

I thought that they would benefit from some electrical panel wiring experience as there were times they didn't seem to grasp how the schematic would be used for practical machine building.
Very much just worked through the book, and they did not have enough time to elaborate.

Thank you for your feedback, without it we can not improve on the services we offer. It is a full-on course though it has improved since it was changed from a 2 day course to a 3 day course. We cover all the tools in the software to ensure you can go away and start creating schematics in the workplace.

Trainer had very good knowledge of the product. However I thought the training was a bit disjointed and rushed along.

Lauren was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic with the electrical design software package. A very cheerful trainer and easy to understand, who answered questions well and also kept us alert through online training! Pace was not bad and enough time to do the exercises and also have a break between lessons was really important.

I understand the broad range of topics to cover, however a significant time was spent on PLCs and a couple of methods to design them, and we only got a shorter time later in the day on connectors which I would have thought would be used more commonly.

Both David for the Onboarding sessions and Gordon for the training, made the training informative and interesting, although a lot of work is covered in a short space of time, I feel the solid solutions team are with me as I progress in the future. Thank You.
