SOLIDWORKS/SWOOD Joinery CAD Designer/CNC Programmer.

We are currently seeking an experienced Furniture Manufacturing engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. We are a bespoke joinery manufacturer of high-quality interiors. The successful candidate will be working converting design and concept drawings into manufacturing drawings cutting lists and CNC programs.

The role requires a strong team player with the following skills:

• 2D/3D CAD SOLIDWORKS Essential, including Autocad


• Joinery background


• Strong Knowledge of joinery and panel construction


• Hafele and Hettich component knowledge


• Ability to produce cutting lists


• Produce Bill of Materials


• Interpret concept and design drawings and convert into manufacturable panels and components


• Specify material content from BOM


• CNC programming


• Sound materials knowledge including solid timbers, panels, laminates, acrylics and solid surface


• Strong attention to detail


• Strong written and verbal communication


• Competency and commitment are essential


• Client liaison
