Due to continued expansion of its consultancy activities TriMech seeks an experienced Stress Analyst to support the delivery of client projects.

This role is open to enthusiastic and forward-thinking engineers with a background in FEA looking to join a dynamic and expanding organisation, and will involve working with TriMech's clients in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, medical, motorsport and many more.

Your exposure to a large range of engineering problems will be unique. You will become part of a talented and adept team, with a true culture of customer support and delivery.

The role is based at the company's Leamington office and you will report to the Simulation Services Director.
Key Details
Role Summary:
TriMech seeks an experienced Stress Analyst with an in-depth knowledge of Abaqus gained in an Automotive, Motorsport or Aerospace environment.

You will have expertise in classical stress and fatigue analysis methods and be able to integrate with a well-established team.

Salary:
There are permanent and contract roles available with remuneration appropriate for this level within the industry. The salary will be dependent on your industrial experience and will be highly competitive.

Hours of work:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Candidate
You will have 5 or more years of experience in the application of FE methods in Abaqus, with knowledge of stress analysis, automotive load-cases and composite materials and be keen to further your knowledge of structural simulation techniques in the composites domain.

You will have detailed expertise using: Abaqus and Ansa. Expertise in the Automotive domain in the fields of Durability, Vibration, Stress Analysis, NVH, Crash or Impact, will be highly advantageous.

This role will be part of the TriMech’s Enterprise Solutions team, which brings together experts from Adaptive, Forward Vision, Design Rule, Desktop Engineering, and Majenta Solutions Dassault Systèmes division. These companies have over 30 years’ experience in implementing CATIA based design, data management and PLM solutions and acknowledged in the market for their technical and business operation skills. Tasked to be the focus for these customer engagements we expect there to be many and varied opportunities to anyone joining our team. There are 2 positions currently which are both additions to our current staffing levels to meet current customer demands. Our teams’ offices are in Oxford and Silverstone.
